Fortunately there are no major issues facing London City Schools. The Board of Education has already done the work necessary to bring fiscal responsibility and increased academic achievement to the district. Going forward we will continue to strive for ever increasing student performance and opportunities. We will maintain our conservative approach to finances.
Over the span of my career I've had the opportunity to be an employee and an employer, work with and in management as well as in a union, and to negotiate compromise between various groups. This variety of experiences as well as my fiscal conservatism make me a strong candidate for the position of Board Member.
School Board elections matter. Not just for students and parents, but for the community as a whole. Especially in small towns like London, Ohio the school can, and should be, a cornerstone of community pride and achievement. Please take the time to evaluate your candidate selection for this position carefully. I appreciate you giving me the opportunity to help take London City Schools to an even higher level.
