Pickaway County Park District

The Pickaway County Park District is seeking a new permanent 0.5 mill levy to raise $692,747 to keep the district in existence, assist in maintaining facilitates, provide funds for new trails and parks, and assist cities, villages and townships with improvements.This would cost homeowners $18 a year per $100,000 of property value.Tom Davis, director of the Pickaway County Park District, said a proposed clearing and paving of a trail stretching from Circleville to New Holland was at the top of the list of projects planned with levy proceeds.Related coverage:Central Ohio voters to decide 3 parks levies in November
