Maintaining the Warren County Way of smart fiscal policy.
I have had the honor of serving the last four years as Auditor, and feel that we can have continued success. We have had many accomplishments in our office and in our County, but we are working every day to make it even better to live and work in Warren County.
Other than being the only one...I believe I have a unique skill set for being County Auditor. With my legal background and my mentor ship under the best Auditor in the State, I have a lot of knowledge as to how best run the many functions of the County Auditor.
The services provided by the County Auditor are mandated by State law. I am working with our legislators to cut the unfunded mandates that do not serve our local community, but cannot make those cuts without the legislature. Despite that limitation, we have succeeded in providing all of the services mandated in a more efficient manner and at less cost. The Warren County Auditor's office budget for 2018 is less than it was in 2014 when I was elected, a nearly unprecedented accomplishment in the current climate. We strive to keep our spending below 2014 numbers without sacrificing any of the constituent services and believe we have accomplished that.
