Constitutional Conservative who believes a Judge should enforce laws on the books not create laws from the bench. I intend to revamp the current docket system in both counties to make it more streamlined and efficient for all parties involved. Eliminating hours long waits and unnecessary continuances. .
I am running because I want to continue to serve the community that has been so good to me. i have lived my entire life in Northern Kentucky and care deeply about this area and its residents. I see this position as another step in a life of service to others.
I also truly love being in a courtroom. Many attorneys cannot say that. I enjoy trial practice and dealing with evidence and witnesses. I enjoy listening to attorneys making their arguments to the court and hearing the Judge's ruling. This judgeship will give me the opportunity to do that every day..
I am a lifelong Northern Kentuckian and have 29 years experience practicing law in all areas under the jurisdiction of the District Court. I have handled thousands of misdemeanor, traffic, probate, eviction, and adult disability cases in numerous counties throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky. That experience has exposed me to many different methods Judges utilize to handle their cases. I want to use this knowledge to the betterment of the Boone and Gallatin District Court. I want to revamp the current docket system to make it more efficient for all parties. I want to eliminate the necessity for people to wait hours for their cases to be heard. I also want to eliminate any unnecessary continuances and delays in court cases.
Northern Kentuckians for the Judiciary also endorsed me as the "most qualified" candidate. They had my opponent and I complete a questionnaire and then we were both interviewed. This group is comprised of practicing attorneys and community leaders.

I am running for District Court Judge for one very important reason: service. Public service is my passion. I have dedicated my career to being a public servant and want to continue serving the citizens of Boone and Gallatin Counties.
I was raised with strong values of family and community. These values carried over when I attended law school. I had a purpose. I wanted to give back to the community where I lived and where my husband and I raised our family.
For twenty years, I have served as an Assistant County Attorney and I have worked closely with our law enforcement agencies, fighting the drug crisis facing our neighborhoods and our families. I have made public safety a top priority.
This campaign is about what I can do for the citizens of Boone and Gallatin Counties. This campaign is about them and working with them to continue to make our communities thrive and remain a great place to live, work and raise our families.
As an Assistant County Attorney for twenty years, I have handled thousands of criminal cases each year. I have been involved in every aspect of the courtroom process, from an arraignment to a jury trial. In addition to criminal cases, I am responsible for mental health, Casey’s Law, and guardianship hearings. I have argued cases at the Court of Appeals and the Kentucky Supreme Court. This experience makes me extremely qualified to be a District Court Judge.
While experience is important and necessary in a judicial position, so is a solid commitment to public service. I am proud of my twenty years of service to my community. It has been my passion to help keep our community safe and prosperous for the next generation. I have been a committed public servant and I want to continue in that role as the next District Court Judge.
I believe that my legal experience and commitment to service make me the best choice. I humbly ask for your vote on November 6th.
