Campaign Message Serve the Ft. Mitchell Community and work with the board to provide a well rounded education to all students while being fiscally responsible.
While I have many reasons to run, the most important is my love for my community and my passion for education. Beechwood has and continues to hold a special place in my heart. I enjoy serving our community on the Beechwood Board of Education and giving back to the community that has given so much to the students of Ft. Mitchell. As a current board member and parent I am proud of our school and what we provide to our students. We are always striving to help each and every student on their journey to becoming a well-rounded student and person both inside and out of the classroom. We provide the facility, direction and financial resources to “support the vision of “Providing Innovative Education Grounded in Tradition". The vision of the district and serving our students drives our decision making. I appreciate the opportunity to serve as a board member for our community and would appreciate your vote to continue this work.
I have experience in serving the community on the Beechwood Board of Education and know what it takes to keep our school moving forward while keeping the traditions we value so dearly. I appreciate the students, teachers and staff at Beechwood and believe as a community we can provide the best for our students while being fiscally responsible. I have volunteered in so many areas of the school over the last 18 plus years and believe in the education we provide at Beechwood. My experience as a current board member and regional KSBA board member allows me the ability to advocate for our students not only within our community but within our state.

As a second-generation graduate of the Beechwood Independent Schools, a Ft. Mitchell Business owner and a father of two boys enrolled at Beechwood Schools, I’m invested in the school and it’s performance. I want to see our children receive the top education in the state of Kentucky. As a business owner, and property owner in Ft. Mitchell, I believe every dollar that flows into the Beechwood Independent School System should be spent wisely. As the son of a high school teacher who once taught at Beechwood, the happiness of our teachers is important to me, and I will work to ensure their needs come first, so they can succeed and in turn our children can succeed inside and outside the classroom. I’m also running to keep our children safe, part of which means finding ways as a Board Member to continue our great relationship with our school resource officer.
I bring new ideas to the table, and as a business owner and attorney, I’m not afraid to offer different points of views, to speak-up, to make a hard decision, or to tackle tough issues affecting the school system. Even if taking such action means voting against a majority of the board members or the current administration if I think its in the best interests of the Beechwood Independent School System. I’m always approachable about any subject and will be so about the business of the Board of Education for Beechwood Independent Schools. I’ve served on numerous boards in the private sector including the Board of Beechwood Educational Foundation, the Northern Kentucky Bar Association, and other businesses and associations within the Northern Kentucky Community. As a second-generation graduate, I understand how important the Beechwood tradition is, and the role it plays in opening doors to our children both academically and professionally long after they've graduated.

I was fortunate enough to grow up in Ft. Mitchell and graduate from Beechwood. The education I received there has served me well throughout my life. I am personally dedicated to maintaining and advancing the excellence that Beechwood is known for. I am proud to say I have been a part of the wonderful transformation Beechwood has undergone in the past 12 years.
I have over 30 years experience running a successful international business. Those experiences make me uniquely qualified in making sound operational and financial decisions for our school. If re-elected I will continue to work hard for our children and future generations.

I am passionate about education. My mother instilled into me the value of education and I in turn have instilled the same values into my children. I endeavor to promote the joy of learning through my volunteer activities at Beechwood. I want to give back to the community which so enriched my children. Although my 4 adult children no longer attend Beechwood, I understand the role that Beechwood plays in our city. As a member of the Beechwood Board of Education, it is my goal to provide the best education for all of our students while exercising fiscal responsibility. I would like to continue to build upon the accomplishments of the Board. The current Beechwood Board of Education is a great team that works extremely well together. Each Board member brings a unique perspective and we complement each other. The Board has updated the facilities both inside and out, and is working to expand 21st century education at Beechwood. I would like to continue this work on behalf of our community.
I have a wealth of experience at Beechwood Independent Schools. My 16 years as a member of the Elementary and High School Site Based Decision Making Councils has given me a unique understanding of the workings of the district. I have experience in curriculum, financial allocations, behavior and discipline, staffing, best practices and so much more. My volunteer activities in the science lab and with the Academic Team have given me direct contact with the students of Beechwood. I understand the needs of the students and can advocate for them. I am in the building several days each week and the staff is very comfortable speaking to me about issues that impact the quality of education at the schools. I have only a single agenda, to provide the best education for our students in a fiscally responsible fashion.

Campaign Message A Fresh Voice for Beechwood
I am eager to build on the excellent things that are happening at Beechwood. I have enjoyed 12 years of service and leadership as a parent volunteer here and have devoted my career to the needs and support of children and families while building our home in Fort Mitchell. My husband I were educated in independent Kentucky public school systems and highly value them. It is my belief that a strong system of public education enriches every member of our community. Out of gratitude for our experiences I am eager to give back in this way.
I am a seasoned advocate for children and families and I have skills and experience that will enable me to collaborate to employ best practices, listen carefully to constituents, and seek the best interest of all for the welfare of our school and community. My efforts as a Beechwood District board member will focus on serving the educational needs of all the children in our district, guided by our mission. Beechwood flourishes because we attend to students as resilient learners and we strive to create a unique community dedicated to student achievement, competency, and excellence.
