Campaign Message "Proud to serve on City Council, as a resource for my fellow residents, business owners, and neighboring communities."
I feel like this answer will resonate with anyone who enjoys serving as an elected official: once elected, if you truly invest the effort to contribute in a meaningful way, the desire to continue to serve and further build your community drives us to run for reelection.

As noted below, I've enjoyed some truly wonderful career and personal opportunities. So, beyond feeling like I have the ability to help, I believe there's an obligation to give back when you've been the beneficiary of what life puts in front of us.

Finally, in exchange for honoring me with their vote, I sincerely consider it my obligation to be a resource for my fellow residents, as we all work toward making Crescent Springs the most desirable place to live, work and play.
I believe the professional and educational experience I've been fortunate enough to have equip me to make a notable contribution to the City of Crescent Springs. In addition, I am committed to collaborating with the neighboring cities and counties to continuously explore ways to improve the broader area we live in.

I find that the private and public sector relationships I've formed over the years provide an incredible network of highly-qualified people with whom to connect on a range of subjects. These outstanding individuals and organizations indeed help me perform my duties as a City Council member much better than I could ever do without them.

Lastly, my Council track record is one of a "bias toward action". When faced with a challenge or opportunity, I believe indecision and inaction are not acceptable. In the end, some show initiative, some do not; even if I'm not the best candidate, I believe the people who vote for me deserve my initiative and my best - and they'll get it.
Governments exist to protect and provide services to their constituents, so I'm not sure why we must talk about cutting services. Instead, and I've delivered on this while serving on Council, let's focus on finding a more efficient and ideally less costly means to operate as a City.

I can't imagine my neighbors or business owners, or my family, being attracted to cutting police or fire protection ... less care of the beautiful park and greenspace we enjoy, or streets in our City ... or providing less assistance from our well-run Administrative offices.

Much like in the private sector, cities can seldom successfully "cut" their way to prosperity. It takes creativity, initiative and open-minded people to tackle the challenges governments face; those who'll consider all options, let go of inflexible traditions and act on behalf of those they serve.

So, before giving a moment's thought to less safety, maintenance or service, I'll lead the focus on greater efficiency.
Similar to my view on cutting services, increasing taxes is the last option on the table, if it must be there at all. Over the years, I've seen Crescent Springs and other governmental entities combine a surgical review of operations with growth strategies, to avoid raising taxes.

In our City, we've been fortunate to create a welcoming environment for businesses and developers. The resulting growth we've seen, along with prudent budget management and higher property values, has translated to revenue levels that allowed us to reduce taxes without risking the City's financial foundation. This is my playbook for how the City avoids burdensome taxation, and one I pray my colleagues will sign onto.

Campaign Message Be Informed...Be A Voter Conservative Leadership for Crescent Springs, Silence is Compliance Let your voices be heard.
I am an educator, not a politician, bringing a new spirit of optimism, transparency, accountability, fiscal responsibility, a more efficient and less intrusive government. My mantra is to inform and educate the citizens of Crescent Springs promoting a voice of the people for any and all issues. Silence is Compliance and the voices of the citizens will no longer be silenced. You will be informed of all issues to make our wonderful city economically sound, a safe place to raise your children and enjoy community engagement.
My conservative values have lead me to speak-out on issues that are often left unsaid. The proverbial "Robbing Peter to pay Paul" as it's only a few bucks here and 6% there leaving Peter with not much of anything left to spare! I have spoken out against Duke Energy rate increases, SD1, NKY Water District and addressing Kentucky Legislative Issues. Together we will build a people-powered community. I will work for you and with you.
The most important services a city offers its residents: SAFETY...a qualified and certified Police, Fire Department, Advanced Life Support (ALS), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) , Snow Removal and Well Maintained Roads. As these services are vital to the residents, it would be extremely difficult to even consider cutting back on these essential services. As your voice on Council, it is my utmost responsibility to be diligent when it comes to making decisions spending your hard-earned tax dollars. Prodigal and extravagant spending would be the first cuts made in the City Budget.
I would not support increasing taxes or fees until a thorough audit and review as to why such an increase is necessary and formally requested. The citizens would be informed and feedback solicited before any and all taxes or fees would be increased. My desired results would be to decrease taxes and fees. The citizens of Crescent Springs' voices and concerns will be listened to and heard. We the Council work for you! "We in American do not have government by the majority. We have government by the majority who participate."-Thomas Jefferson
