Campaign Message I am hoping to continue the citizens using the knowledge I have gained for over 45 years.
I am running for office again to continue the dedication I have had to the citizens for many years. During my years of service to the city I have gained knowledge of city functions and feel that the knowledge I have is valuable to operating the city in a favorable way.
I consider the fact that I have been involved with city operations since 1970 is a very important asset for me. I served as City Treasurer from 1970 to 2007, and as City Clerk from 1976 until the mid 90's. I have been an important part of the City evolving over the years into a fiscally sound municipality. As City Treasurer, I had the responsibility of managing city funds and was always frugal with how the funds were spent. I also have served on City Council for over 10 years since retirement and feel that my knowledge has been valuable. Our City has become very progressive in the last 10 years and a good working Council is an integral part of the success. I hope to work on continuing the progress we have had over the past several years.
I do not anticipate cutting any services and if anything I feel we will continue to find ways to increase services.
The City Council for the past several years have worked together to maintain the same level of taxation. I do not think it will be necessary to raise any taxes in order to continue the level of service to our citizens.

Campaign Message #MooreForElsmere
First and foremost, I love this city and I want to see it continue to prosper. Elsmere is a diverse community with tons of potential, and I'd like to be a steward of the community's desire to move forward and realize that potential. I ran for the first time in 2016 because I believe in getting involved as opposed to remaining on the sidelines, and it is in that same vein that I am seeking re-election.
I genuinely care about this city and its residents and want to see it flourish. That is the foremost reason why I am asking for the votes of Elsmere's residents. I am accessible and responsive, and will always act in the best interests of the city. I believe in a cooperative and community based approach. I further believe that we accomplish the most by banding together toward a common goal.
None. There is currently no need to do so. Elsmere is financially solvent and taxes have not been raised in years. Certainly from a due diligence perspective we should continue to monitor all current services to ensure that they are useful, financially efficient and sustainable, but I think we are actually in a position to look at what additional services we can provide residents.
None. Again, we are in the advantageous position (through careful planning, general resourcefulness, and regular auditing) to look at how we can expand services using the resources we already have. In my next term I want to continue aggressively enforcing code issues on blighted properties, invigorate our frontage on Dixie Highway, invite new businesses to take residence in the city, and revitalize Elsmere's infrastructure.
