Public service experience I have served on this board for several years and I served on the school board for a term
Our main issues are diabetes and obesity, we are dealing with these through various programs that are run through the Wellness Center ( we are partnered with the City of Lindsay). We have also partnered with Lindsay Unified School Districts Healthy Start to start the Lindsay Diabetes Project, which began approximately one year ago. Also we are partnered with Kaweah DeltaHospital, Tulare County Healrh Dept and various others. We are also working with McDermont Field House in funding the program GUM, Get Up and Move. This programs deals with middle schools nutrition and exercise and mental health. I also ensure that we maintain a variety of medical facilities to serve our communities medical needs. We have done this by working withKaweah Delta medical, Tulare Regional medical, Dr. Whang, Sequoia Family Healthcare and Foundation Lab. We also have brought in ProPt, a physical therapy group.
I have the experience and knowledge to keep the district moving forward. Being retired I am able to give more time than most could. Being born here I have a vested interest in the community and I would appreciate your vote.
