1. We must raise per pupil pay and teacher compensation to at least the national average asap. 2. We must make companies more accountable for ANY discharges they make. Disclosure requirements must be more strict.
Pay Equity is already a matter of law, but NC should likewise promote fair pay equity. And yes, phasing in a raise of the minimum wage in NC is warranted.
I support independently drawn non-partisan maps. Perhaps it is the use of an algorithm by a panel of experts chosen from a pool at random. It must be done.
Prioritize teacher pay and per pupil spending, as well as investments in supplies and crumbling infrastructure. A school bond for physical improvements to schools is long overdue as well.
Sidestepping a DA’s discretion is tough, but yes with City Council approval.
I do NOT support seismic testing or off-shore drilling off the NC coast.
