To fully fund and improve public education by increasing teacher pay, reducing class sizes, hiring more school counselors and expanding Pre-K education and childcare programs. To accept the Federal funding for Medicaid Expansion and make healthcare more accessible.
Pay equity is essential to the well being of NC, and raising the state minimum wage is necessary to hire and retain quality workers. Our citizens deserve a living wage and that will stimulate the economy in NC.
Using NON-Partisan independent guidelines based upon census numbers solely. Partisan gerrymandering is counter productive to the rights and freedoms intended by our founders, and damages the balance of powers.
We must eradicate hunger and increase teacher salaries.Hungry children will not learn as well as well nourished children.Teachers must be treated as the professionals we expect them to be to educate effectively
