What are your top 2 or 3 priorities for action on the Board of Education? (40 words max)

What policies, if any, are needed to ensure equal access to learning for undocumented students and other students who face possible discrimination from students, school personnel, or others? (30 words max)

Explain your position on allowing trained teachers to be armed in classrooms. (briefly respond in 15 words maximum)

Experience (35 words max) Four years of BOE service, Twenty years as teacher in NC public school classrooms, Nationally acclaimed Debate Coach, Service on numerous local boards and committees
1--Completion of four new Moore County elementary schools and North Moore High School addition 2--Providing a safe, secure learning environment for every student in every school 3--Establishing opportunities for every student to achieve success
Policies are already in place to ensure equal access. We must now educate all teachers and staff to insure protocol is followed and that rights are protected. This begins in the individual classroom.
This issue would require much in-depth study before any possible implementation.
Experience (35 words max) Worked for Moore County Schools for 21 years in the following roles: a Substitute Teacher, Bus Driver, Computer Specialist, and Digital Arts Technician

Work on a healthy relationship between the school system and the community it serves.
