Experience (35 words max) Over four years experience as a Lee County Commissioner, two years Vice-Chairman, former History teacher both secondary and post secondary, Sandhills Center Mental Health Board member, Fire Advisory Board, and National Parks Volunteer.
(1) End “corporate welfare” (2) lower taxes, and (3) Ending the county’s discrimination against law abiding Concealed Handgun Permit holders by reinstating the Ordinance allowing the right to carry on county property.
Lower property taxes and lift dubious restrictions on development.
Foster and expand the apprenticeship program such as the relationship with Lee County Schools and Caterpillar; Continue expanding Lee Early College into the medical and dental professions.
Our country is based on the “rule of law” and enforcement of that law is tantamount to good governance. Annual taxpayers cost per illegal family member is $8,075.
Lee County Sheriff's Department maintains an open relationship with the citizens and elected officials. Sheriff Carter has the highest respect among our citizens and his financial expenses are closely supervised.
