Experience (35 words max) A native of Pender County who, for 28 years, taught children from every district in the county. Current president of Pender Arts Council and member for over 40 years. Founder of Pender Spring Festival.
Communication with State Representatives is vital. Local School Boards make policies to carry out regulations levied by the state.Issues, including Safety,Class Size,Calendar(including makeup days) need to be addressed in dialogue with local and state communities.
Our mission to educate ALL our children should be at the first of every policy we make.
I do not believe in arming teachers.
