Yes. Our state government should ensure that all North Carolina residents who do honest work can earn a decent living.
Redistricting should be done in a fair manner and districts should not be drawn by the same people who have to run in them. A non-partisan panel of judges should be selected to create new maps.
Teacher pay should be increased and the state legislature should commit to fully funding all NC public schools.
These decisions should be made by local communities rather than dictated by the state legislature.
I oppose off-shore drilling. Our coast is too precious to risk.
