Experience (35 words max) I am a North Carolina native and graduate of NC public schools and UNC-Greensboro. Guilford County is where I run my small business and where I am starting my family.

Our kids deserve world-class education and that begins with raising teacher and per-pupil spending to the national average. I want to expand Medicaid so that 17,000 Guilford County residents will gain coverage overnight and we keep our tax dollars local.
Yes, the legislature should act, because equal work deserves equal pay. I support an increase in the minimum wage so that no hardworking families or individuals experience poverty.
I strongly support enactment of an independent redistricting commission. I’ll support this even if I serve in the majority at the time of redistricting because partisan districts are always wrong.
We must increase per-pupil spending, so our students graduate equipped to succeed in a changing economy. We must pass a phased-in of class size caps for students of all ages.
I believe municipalities are the best-positioned to make this decision for their communities.
I strongly oppose offshore drilling as it places our coast and tourism industry at risk.
