I would like to see incentives restored to teachers, such as salary increases for National Board certification and graduate degrees in their teaching field.

I will introduce legislation that will provide volunteer firefighters and Emergency Medical Technicians with State Income Tax credit.
I would support raising the State minimum wage and I definitely support pay equality for all employees.
I believe that the best way that the redistricting process can be conducted is by a consulting firm that does not have any ties to North Carolina. It is imperative that we remove politics from drawing District lines.
