3 favorite endorsements for this election Neither I nor the NC Green Party support ranking our endorsements.
My top two priorities when in office would be to work across party lines to achieve Universal Healthcare and sick leave for all North Carolinians and to implement a moratorium on power shutoffs.
The NC legislature should raise the minimum wage above $15/hr, and should invest state funds towards building a stronger workforce through worker owned enterprises.
No party should be able to tip the scales in their favor, control of redistricting should be taken away from the NC legislature and assigned to an independent, non-partisan redistricting committee.
To improve our education system we need to focus on making our state a place where teachers want to work again. The best two ways to do this is to actually fund our K-12 schools and PAY our teachers.
Yes, communities should have the ability to hold police departments and officers accountable.
I oppose offshore drilling and the further exploration of fossil fuels for energy.
