Priority One is to remove the toxic GEN X from the Cape Fear River (drinking water source) and hold Dupont accountable. Priority Two is to block off-shore drilling on the Brunswick County beaches.
The raising of the minimum wage to $15 and promoting pay equity across race and gender should be mandated by the NC General Assembly and not left up to businesses.
Redistricting should be done by an independent agency and not by members of the NC General Assembly.
Provide support resources for teachers to include classroom materials, teaching assistants, school nurses, wifi and safety officers. Raise teacher and principal salaries to the top ten in the United States.
A community review board should make recommendations but not have subpoena or disciplinary powers.
Any economic gain from off-shore drilling for NC is not worth the risk.
