2. Make democracy work for all, including public only funding for all elections, eliminating personal wealth as a consideration for running for office.
The NC legislature must take action to raise the state minimum wage – livable wages. Business has refused to do the right thing for many years, thereby ceding the moral option.
Nonpartisan – not bipartisan – commission, heavily weighted for membership by League of Women Voters and Common Cause.
