The legislature raised minimum pay standards for all state employees. However, the legislature should not dictate the same increases for private employers.
The NC Constitution provides the General Assembly shall revise the districts after return of the decennial census. Absent a Constitutional Amendment, redistricting shall remain with the General Assembly.

1. Addressing our drinking water crisis/GenX in Southeastern NC through meaningful legislation and appropriate funding for state agencies/NCDEQ, NCDHHS & NCDOJ. 2. Reinvestment in our public school system: student spending, teacher pay & universal Pre-K.
Take action to raise minimum wage, equal pay for race and gender. Local jurisdictions should have ability to adjust above minimum based on cost of living criteria.
Establish an independent, non partisan body to draw district voting lines.
