Healthcare: Healthcare is a basic right. Reform ACA. Move to single payer for all. Jobs: Living wage jobs benefit both the employee and employer. Employees have increased buying power. Employers have more qualified and productive workers, and increased productivity.
Community and technical colleges must be tuition-free. Pell grants must be increased. Student loan rates should match the discount rate and public service should erase student loans over time.
Teachers should teach, not shoot. Schools can be made more secure without being prison-like. Ban Assault weapons, bump stocks and high-capacity clips. Close the gun show loophole.
Create a path to citizenship for DACA. Ensure quick court hearing appearances and keep families together. Overhaul the temporary work visa system to accommodate agriculture.
