Experience (35 words max) I have over 30 years of experience in the classroom. I began my career teaching elementary and my last 17 years were teaching in high school.
3 favorite endorsements for this election I have been endorsed by the Century Club of Stanly County, the Stanly County Democratic Women, and my favorite endorsements are from many of my former students and their parents.
1. Providing a quality education for ALL students in Stanly County. 2. Making our facilities safe and equitable. 3. Increasing course offerings at our high schools so that all students have equal access to AP, Honors, and CTE courses in our system.
Current policies just need to be followed and enforced. All students deserve equal opportunities for a public education. Students and their families should feel comfortable reporting any discrimination from others.
I do not agree in arming teachers with guns. There are too many opportunities for accidents.
