Experience (35 words max) I have been both a literacy instructor and an English as a Second Language for over ten years. Prior to my election to the Nash Rocky Mount Public Schools Board of Education, I served as a volunteer in the district for over twelve years.
My top three priorities for action are the development and support of safe and orderly schools, parental involvement, and academic excellence initiatives. I will also continue to advocate for all stakeholders throughout the district.
Policies that grant equal access to instruction and resources to all students are essential.
I believe that the presence of weapons in classrooms would negatively impact the learning process.
