Experience (35 words max) I have served in the NC House of Representatives since my appointment in 2013. Before then, I was an educator and administrator in North Carolina public schools for 35 years.

1) Increase funding for traditional public schools with supplemental support for low wealth schools. 2) Provide broadband to rural NC to give access to economic, educational, and healthcare opportunities.
The NCGA should take the lead in raising minimum wages whereas the state employs many workers. I believe this would create a climate for businesses to want to follow.
