What are your top 2 or 3 priorities for action in this office? (40 words maximum)

Experience (35 words max) For almost two decades I was a magistrate and served as a judicial official. I presided over thousands of cases, hearings, and proceedings. I also have human resource and project management experience.
My top priorities are to implement technology, improve productivity and accuracy, and to cultivate and create better interagency relations. I will serve fairly, impartially, and competently with an emphasis on public service and accessibility.
Experience (35 words max) I began working in law enforcement in 1988. I have worked as a dispatcher, deputy, and administrative assistant. 2002-2017 Surry County Clerk’s Office and Forsyth County Clerk’s Office
I would prioritize increasing accuracy and reducing errors in the procedures carried out by the Clerk’s Office. I will be a working Clerk. I will do my job and not expect others to carry out my duties.
