Experience (35 words max) I have 26 years of private practice in all the courts a District Court Judge presides over. I am also a contract Attorney for all juvenile delinquent cases in our 2 counties.
I ran four years ago and said then I would do it again. I believe in working a full day, hearing all cases before me AND will rule fairly with impartiality and integrity. I would be honored to serve the citizens of my District.
Candidate response is not yet available.
Experience (35 words max) I became a licensed attorney in Aug. 2015. I have practiced in Federal, NC Appeals, and NC Superior and District Courts.
I believe that our American way of life depends upon the rule of law and judges who are impartial at all times, tough when justice demands, merciful when compassion is called for, and humble in their walk of life. I am committed to those ideals.
Experience (35 words max) I have 23 years experience as a trial attorney in District Court. I have published two legal treatises and am certified as Child Welfare Specialist through the National Association of Counsel for Children.
My broad legal experience as a trial attorney in both private and public practice, my legal scholarship, and my long community involvement in both Alexander and Iredell counties will allow me to effectively help solve the problems of untreated drug abuse and back logged cases that effect our District Court.
