Experience (35 words max) Graduate of Wake Forest University Law School. Partner at Brinkley Walser Stoner, Lexington, NC. U.S. Army Major, Judge Advocate General's Corps. U.S. Marine Corps Infantryman. 32 years military service and 20 years legal experience.

My goal is to bring the core values that I learned as a child growing up in a military family and during my 32 years of military service to the bench. These core values include faith, adherence to the law, duty, respect, selfless service, honor, integrity, personal courage, hard work, and above all, humility.
Experience (35 words max) Judge Wood has served Davidson and Davie counties as a District Court Judge since 2002. She is a certified Juvenile Court Judge and is the designated Truancy Judge for Davie County.
As a Judge for the past sixteen years, I understand that my decisions have a profound impact on people’s lives. I believe a judge should hear all of the evidence and reach a fair and just outcome without regard to a person’s race, class, status or the lawyer they hire.
