My experience as a Ladue School Board member and my professional skills gained being a company president have provided an excellent background for me to serve effectively. I believe that this experience in combination with my demonstrated commitment and ability to work collaboratively will enable me to address the considerable challenges facing our district.

I have an accounting degree from the University of Missouri and have 30 years of business experience as a commercial real estate broker and served as a bank board director. This background in dealing with business owners, nonprofits, city officials, development agencies, architects and contractors would be a valuable resource as the district reviews its facilities.

I will work along with the administration to address the current needs of aging buildings and other campus upgrades in the near future. Fiscal responsibility is required to ensure that public funds are being utilized with fidelity. Working in tandem with fellow board members to support the efforts of the superintendent and provide an objective critique when required.
I am the parent of students within the district, focused on achievement for all students at high levels and have worked in public education. I have studied public policy and administration at undergraduate and graduate levels. I am passionate about children and have been a child advocate for many years. I am a public servant, active in the community and willing to serve.

I am a C.P.A. with over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting. I have worked extensively with boards, board committees and have studied effective governance models. I have also served on numerous boards and committees, currently serving on the Ladue Schools finance advisory committee. I also serve on the board of the First Tee of Greater St. Louis.
